Citizen Endorsement

I am writing this letter in support of Andy Vasquez for the Yuba County District 1 supervisor position.  I have known Mr. Vasquez for the past five years he has lived in Yuba County.  Mr. Vasquez in my observations has shown dedication and care for the community during this time.

Mr. Vasquez appointment as supervisor occurred a year ago.  In this time, Mr. Vasquez has demonstrated effective leadership skills by seeking feedback from residents, organizing community improvement projects, and being accessible to his constituents.  Linda currently has momentum with a leader that has lived in the community and seeks the best for the community. 

I am concerned that Mr. Vasquez is running against two candidates who recently moved into the community.  I am sure these candidates have claims to their merits but I don’t think it is prudent to invest our votes in candidates who did not have a sustained residence in Linda prior to the election.

As a 17 year Yuba County resident who understands the issues facing Yuba County and District 1, I fully endorse Mr. Vasquez for District 1 supervisor.
